Purpose of use of pseudonymized processed information
Except as required by laws and regulations, the Company uses pseudonymized processed information (limited to personal information) for the purposes described below.
- To utilize the usage status of our products and services (including smartphone apps and websites) to provide new services and improve existing ones.
Grievances and Inquiries Regarding Pseudonymized Processed Information
The Planning & Administration Division will handle inquiries, consultations and grievances about how we manage pseudonymized processed information. Please use the inquiry form under “Responding to Inquiries from Individuals.”
Regarding Handling of Pseudonymized Processed Information
When we create pseudonymized processed information, collect deletion information related to the pseudonymized information, or receive pseudonymized information, we shall take the necessary security control measures to prevent the leakage, etc., of such information and handle it appropriately.
- When the personal information and deleted information, for which pseudonymized processed information was created, are no longer required, we will make every effort to destroy them as soon as possible.
- Except as required by laws and regulations, we will not provide pseudonymized processed information (including pseudonymized information that is not personal information) to third parties.
- When handling pseudonymized information, we do not compare it to other information in order to identify the individual whose personal information was used in creating the pseudonymized processed information.
- When handling pseudonymized processed information, we do not use contact information or other information contained in the pseudonymized processed information to make telephone calls, send mail, or electronic messages or to visit residences.
