Preface

Use of the Mitsubishi Generator’s official website (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”) shall be deemed agreement with the following conditions:

  • 1. Mitsubishi Generator Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) may change Terms of Use without prior notice. In such cases, the revised Terms of Use shall apply.
  • 2. While the Company makes every effort to ensure that the information posted on the Website is accurate and up to date, it does not guarantee that:

  • 5. When using the websites of related companies linked by the Website, the Terms of Use specified by the relevant websites shall apply.
  • 6. A link to a company does not imply a partnership with the Company.

Protection of Intellectual Property Rights

Information on products, services and technologies provided via the Website are protected by the Industrial Property Act, Copyright Act and other laws and regulations regarding intellectual property rights. Use of said information is permitted for private purposes only. Use of said information (including reproduction, transmission, distribution, transfer and adaptation) beyond private purposes, requires prior express permission from the Company.

Trademark

Domain names, trademarks and service marks of the Company, its parent company and other companies used on the Website are protected by the Trademark Act, Unfair Competition Prevention Act and other laws. Use thereof requires prior express permission from the Company and the relevant right holders.

Prohibitions

The following actions related to the accessing of information on the Website are prohibited:

  • 1. Any action that infringes industrial property rights, copyrights and other property rights of other users, third parties or the Company
  • 2. Any action that slanders, libels or threatens other users, third parties or the Company
  • 3. Any action that causes or may cause disadvantage and damage to other users, third parties or the Company
  • 4. Any action that may discredit the Company or the Website
  • 5. Any action that uses the Website for business activities or other profit-making activities
  • 6. Any action that is contrary to public order or morality, including but not limited to indecent or profane conduct and words
  • 7. Any action that uses or may use, provides or may provide computer viruses and other harmful software programs
  • 8. Any action that violates or may violate laws and regulations, including those regarding exportation
  • 9. Any action that violates the Terms of Use, or hinders or may hinder the business of the Company or third parties

Information Provided by Users

The Company does not accept any confidential or other proprietary information from users of the Website (including technological information, ideas for sales and products owned by the users, and hereinafter referred to as the “Information”) excluding cases in which the Company requests the Information, ideas for sales and products owned by the relevant user.

Even if the Website user provides the Information to the Company, if the Company does not specifically indicate the intention of accepting the duty of confidentiality, users shall acknowledge that the Company assumes no responsibility for maintaining the confidentiality of the Information. Furthermore, the Company shall assume no responsibility for the use or evaluation of the Information.

Compensation for Damage

If a violation of the Terms of Use by a user causes damage to other users, third parties or the Company, said user must compensate for all damage. The Company shall assume no responsibility for said damage.

Jurisdiction and Venue

The Terms of Use and the Website shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any and all disputes arising out of or in connection with the Terms of Use and the Website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.

Links to the Website

For third parties interested in linking to the Website, please refer to the following rules. Authorization from the Company will not be necessary if these procedures are followed.

  • 3. Clearly state the fact that the link is to the Website.
  • 4. Permission to link to the Website does not ensure the absence of technical or content errors on the Website; therefore the Company will not be held responsible for any problems that the link may cause.
  • 5. The URL or content of the Website may change or be terminated without notice.
  • 6. If there is a request from the Company to terminate the link from the website, the link must be terminated immediately.

Recommended System Requirements for Browsers

  • 1. Recommended OS/Browsers
    The Website may not display correctly with older versions of OS/browsers.
    When the compatibility view setting for Internet Explorer is on, the Website may not properly function or may not display correctly.
    Since each browser adopts an expression system set by each developer, the Website does not guarantee the same display conditions for all browsers.
    A browsing environment that differs from the Terms of Use may be applied to individual product pages.
    Furthermore, changing OS/browser settings, or having different Internet access environment settings may interfere with the Website’s function or display.

The Website employs encryption communication using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer)/TLS (Transport Layer Security) to protect user information from eavesdropping and other threats on the webpages when sending inquiries to the Website, and pages on which personal information is provided for member registration.

The Website has suspended communication via SSL v2 or v3 to respond to the vulnerability of SSL3.0. Some webpages cannot be accessed by browsers that do not support TLS. We recommend the use of a browser other than those listed below when accessing the Website:
