Large-scale preventive maintenance

Replacing insulation and other components enhances reliability for long-term operation by preventing deterioration of parts caused by prolonged exposure to electrical, thermal, and mechanical stresses.

Stator coil upgrade

Stator coil insulation deteriorates due to aging. We recommend replacement before it drops below the required voltage strength. Upgrading stator coils approximately 20 years after the start of operation enables us to provide long-term support for plant operations.

Rotor insulation upgrade

Aging rotor coil insulation increases the risk of inter-turn short circuits, increased shaft vibration, and ground fault due to aging. We provide support for long-term plant operation through replacement of insulation approximately 20 years after the start of operation.

Generator auxiliaries upgrade

Generator auxiliaries deteriorate over time due to aging, which may adversely affect plant operations. We provide total support, from renewal proposals for long-term operation to construction work.

Upgrades and other options

The application of cutting-edge design during routine inspections and large-scale repairs makes it possible to improve generator reliability and efficiency.

Partial-discharge monitor

Installation of an additional partial-discharge monitor makes it possible to monitor the condition of stator coil insulation during operation and to achieve early detection of abnormal indications.

Interchange Seal Oil Vacuum Treating Unit

Installation of an additional Vacuum Treating Unit into a conventional double-flow seal oil system makes it possible to prevent reduced hydrogen purity, reduce the number of processes required for purity restoration, and improve generator efficiency.

High Heat Transmission (HHT®︎)

Application of the High Heat Transmission (HHT®︎) system to stator coil insulation makes it possible to lower temperature rise, reduce loss, and achieve greater generator efficiency than conventional insulation offers.

High-efficiency bearings

Application of high-efficiency bearings makes it possible to reduce bearing loss and achieve greater generator efficiency than conventional bearings offer.

Technology compatible with DSS*

Application of technology compatible with DSS makes it possible to ensure long-term reliability that responds to diverse operation patterns.

Collector ring (slip ring) machining

Application of a collector ring (slip ring) machining unit allows our customers to have worn rings ground without turning the generator rotor.
